 Gentoo Penguins

During the breeding season, the Gento penguin is a very common bird in the Falklands, it grows to 76cm which is only 20 cm smaller than the King penguin.  There are over 100,000 Gentoo penguins on the Falklands and they are found at over 100 sites.  They can be identified by the white bar over the crown of the head and a long bill which is orange and black.
