Coasts
 
We are lucky in Britain that everyone lives relatively near to the coast.  Even living in Leicestershire, I can get to the coast within a few hours drive.  The seaside as its known is loved by many, millions of people visit the coasts of Britain each year for their holidays.  But the British coastline is very long and despite all the visitors, there are still many, many miles of unspoilt coastline to be explored.
 
Oystercatcher is a common bird around most coastlines.  This image was taken in Shetland islands which are a prime example of some of some of the great coasts that Britain has to offer
