Common Blue Damselfly

Damselfly are are often called Dragonflies after their bigger cousins.  This image is off one of Britain's common Damselfly species the common Blue which is between 25 and 35 mm long.  I was pleased to manage to get the whole thing in focus which was achieved by getting my macro lens perfectly square to the subject.
