Wall (sometimes called "Wall Brown") |
|
The Wall
butterfly is found in warm weather where it's bright colours
attract your attention as it flies by. It is often
found on stones, rocks, or on the ground when it has warmed up
in the sun. Obviously the warmer the weather the easiest
it is to photograph the butterfly as it sunbathes in the sun. The obvious picture that every butterfly photographer wants is that of a Wall butterfly resting on a stone wall. I achieved this picture at Durlston Country Park in Swanage in Dorset while looking for Lulworth Skipper. |
