| Grizzled Skippers are reasonably common in the midlands, it's just a case of knowing where to look. The two pictures above were taken at the Butterfly Conservation reserve at Ryton in Warwickshire in May 2009. |

The two pictures
above were taken from Twywell Hills and Dales Country Park
in Northamptonshire in May 2009, which is a great place for quite a few
species of butterfly and moth. These include: Dingy Skipper, and Green Hairstreak in May. Marbled White, and Six-spot Burnet in July and August. |
