Brimstone
 
The Brimstone is reasonably common in central England and along the South coast.  However it another of butterfly that can be hard to photograph as it seems to keep flying and rarely stop long enough for it's photo to be taken.

These pictures were taken at a variety of locations in Oxfordshire, Hampshire, Worcestershire, and Warwickshire.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
Like most butterflies, the eggs of Brimstone are extremely tiny less than a couple of mm in size

at Ryton Wood
Butterfly Conservation Reserve
near to Coventry.
