Syrian Woodpecker in Bulgaria |

One of my long term goals is to photograph all of the woodpecker species in Europe. During a weeks wildlife photography holiday in Bulgaria in may 2010, I was very pleased to photograph both Syrian and Lesser Spotted woodpeckers. It was very good to photograph two of the hard to see woodpeckers in one week. |
