Marsh Frogs in Bulgaria |
|
A visit to Bulgaria in May 2010 to target some of the birds and wildlife of the Mediterranean resulted in some pleasing images of birds found in the these warmer countries such as Hoopoe, Roller, and Bee-eater. It also featured a few surprises such as both Lesser Spotted and Syrian Woodpeckers. Whilst at reed beds looking for water birds and Reed warblers, another surprise was the Marsh Frog which is a found in a small number of British ponds where it's origin is thought to be "escapee". But very common and found in huge numbers on our trip. |
