Red Deer
Red Deer are a common species in Britain and are reasonably easy to photograph at medium / long range.
Close pictures take a bit more searching and can usually be easier during cold weather when deer are often found at lower heights looking for food.
Below are two pictures of a male at Kinloch Hourn in October 2007


These pictures were taken of a herd of 51 individuals including young Stags , females and calves were seen near Victoria Bridge in central Scotland in March 2007.



Below is a long range picture of a Red Deer Stag roaring at Bradgate Park in Leicestershire.
