Wren

The Wren is one of our smallest British birds (but not the smallest as Firecrest and Goldcrest are smaller)

It is often easy to see but hard to photograph as it moves very fast and often does not stand still for long.

There are many different "races" of Wren and a check online revealed 13 different races across the Western Palaearctic including Three in Britain.  "Shetland, Fair Isle, and St. Kilda"
