Various Wagtails

Some of the Wagtail family are common birds but often hard to photograph due to the fact there seem to be constantly moving.

 

Pied Wagtail

By far the most common British wagtail is the Pied, but not always the easiest of birds to photograph, when it often won't stand still.
The two pictures below are from Cossington Meadows, Leicestershire.

Grey Wagtail

It is easier to take pictures at a spot where they are more used to people such as Fountains Abbey in Yorkshire

 

The Wagtails are also fairly tame at Dovedale in Derbyshire where these pictures are taken.
