Winter Starlings Roosts

There are several large starling roosts in the UK and I have seen many of these on the TV.
However I have not actually seen any of these in the flesh.

I had always planned to visit sometime and try to get some images.  During January 2010, I got the opportunity to visit one of UK's largest near Gretna Green where I managed these two images
