Starlings and Blackbirds
Starling
Two more pictures from my Leicestershire garden

Blackbird
Also another picture from
my Leicestershire garden
(are you getting used to seeing this old piece of fence in the pictures?, well
it's falling down so possibly won't be on many more pictures)

Most of the fence has gone but the Blackbird's are still here

Another Leicestershire Blackbird below

Ring Ouzel
Although Birdguides states "The species is the upland equivalent of the Blackbird" this picture was taken in Scotland in June 2006 and not another shot from the fields behind my Leicestershire garden. It would be a good Leicestershire record if it was.

Although during summer these are reasonably easy to spot on high ground such as the Cairngorms, these are difficult birds to photograph. Often resulting in fairly long range pics like this heavily cropped effort.
