Spoonbill

Spoonbills are nowhere not numerous in Britain but they can be found reasonably regularly in some areas such as the Dorset coast particularly around Arne and Poole harbour and Brownsea Island area where some are often found all year round.
I saw two birds at Lodmoor near Weymouth where one particular bird showed very well for my camera in March 2008

I have also seen a Spoonbill at a longer range at Cley in Norfolk in 2006 which is pictured below.
