Sparrowhawk
It's fairly easy to see a Sparrowhawk as my pictures at the bottom of this page will show, they often visit bird tables, but it's hard to get close photos.
During June 2008, I had very close views of Sparrowhawk while staying at Fair Isle Bird Observatory where I saw three birds, 2 males and a female, two of which I saw being ringed.

also often seen flying past when my camera is nowhere to be seen..........

A quick
glance into my garden when there is nothing on the feeders often produces views
like this below...
looks good with the bins but not with the lens.
