Owl Gallery
These pictures show four of the five resident species of British Owl.
The end of 2006 and early 2007 is proving to be productive with Owls seen on at
least 10 occasions (with 4 species seen during the first few weeks of 2007) including
one day in Leicestershire that produced 3 species in one evening.

These pictures were taken from a variety of sites including:
Hartshill
Hayes in Warwickshire for Tawny Owl.
Great Easton in Leicestershire where Short-eared, Little and occasional Barn Owl
are often seen at dusk.
A site in Northamptonshire well known for Barn Owl's also proved productive.
The Nene Washes RSPB also produced a Barn Owl on New Years day.
Several Barn Owl's in Norfolk in February including Barn Owl at the winter
Raptor watch point at Norfolk Wildlife Trust's Hickling Broad
