Long Tailed Duck

A couple of pictures of a Long Tailed Duck in the harbour of Burghead on Scotland's Moray coast.

We were watching (and photographing the Gulls before getting brief but good views of this Long Tailed Duck before it swam out of the harbour and out to sea.  Whilst I was pleased to see this species and pleased to at least get some pics, they were disappointing results considering the duck was close.  The angle from the car to the duck was steep and the contrast was high into the sun. But as these are scarce enough to be reported as "rarities" on bird watching web sites, I thought it worth publishing these results.
