Larks

So far two species from the Lark family on digital.

Wood Lark

A small group of birds were showing well from the hide at Weeting Heath. I was looking for Stone Curlew which were viewable at quite long range when these came into view close to the hide.
These are small birds and they were very close at times for good views, however for photography there were to near as these pictures were taken through chicken wire and as such the results are not as great. But I am still pleased considering haw uncommon the chance to get close views of Wood Larks is.

Shore Lark

These two were part of a flock of Seven birds in Norfolk

Skylark

There were plenty of Skylarks but these were not easy to photograph in the windy weather at Flamborough Head, Yorkshire in May 2007
