Various Finches

Below there pictures of a few of the many Finches all of which are reasonably common.

Greenfinch

A very common bird, but I was still pleased with these pictures of this male on a feeder.

Bullfinch

Pictures of both Male and Female, both pictures taken from my Leicestershire garden.

Chaffinch

Another frequent visitor to my garden, but both these pictures was taken from a holiday cottage in Scotland.

Brambling

A winter visitor to the UK, this bird was part of a small flock photographed in my Leicestershire garden, taken at quite a range from inside the house on a damp day.  allthough it could be sharper it is reasonable and I was pleased to see it.

Goldfinch

Yet another Finch picture from my garden.

And another below from the feeders at Rutland water in 2008.

Linnet

Two more pictures of birds from the Finch family, this time of Linnet's.
One from my garden and one from Norfolk, both will be replaced when I get a better picture.
