| Mandarin Duck |
| Mandarin Duck is a
species that I have been after photographing for some time and a visit to the
Forest Of Dean in March 2008 proved very productive. Two sites were
recommended to me (Mallards Pike and Cannop Ponds) Both produced Mandarin ducks very close. It's always hard to photograph birds in windy weather but I could not fail to get something half decent when they were this close. |

two great sites and for a great day out Roger. If you visit these, keep an eye out for Goshawk's as one flew over very close while at Cannop Ponds (unfortunately I had no time to grab a photo) |
