Cormorant

Again a  common bird, that is often seen inland as well as around our coast.

Indeed these two picture's were taken in the East Midlands a long way from the coast. The Flying bird was taken at Pitsford Reservoir, Northamptonshire and the bird on the fence was taken at Rutland Water, Leicestershire in Jan 2007.
