Cirl Bunting

A rare British bird that has suffered a huge decline over the past century but is making a bit of a come back in Devon.

One of the better sites for Cirl Buntings is East Prawle in Devon where this male was photographed in May 2008.

As well as two males, I also saw quite a few female Cirl Buntings including this bird below
