Unidentified Gallery

 

It's not unusual that while I am out with my macro lens, I end up taking pictures of things that I can't identify.  I therefore thought it would be worthwhile adding a few pictures to this web site anyway.

 

This might even lead to a few of these gaining an ID.

The caterpillar below does not appear in my Butterfly book, which either leaves me with an incorrect ID or it's a moth.  It was seen feeding on Bilberry leaves in late June 2009 in the Ben Lawes national park at the bottom of the nature trail.  It was about 2 inches long and there were several of them.
