The Mamores
a rounded collection of ten Munro's and smaller peaks
that sit between the giants of the Nevis & Aonnachs range
to the north
and the sharpe peaks of Aonach Eagach & Glencoe to the south
I have
done two walks in this area
one in 1986 where I followed the superb walk in "the big walks" book
and in 2002 where I completed two peaks in an autumn day with weather ranging
from hot sun to driving snow
