Glenfinnan
on the road to the Isles

Glenfinnan is a small village on the road to the Isles with several good walks. the area contains 3 Munro's climbed in two days.  It is also famous for it's old railway viaduct which was made more famous recently as it featured in a recent "Harry Potter" film.

Below is our ascent of Gulvian

we started the walk from the forestry land and surprisingly found a good path

the fact that it was so cold assisted us as the normally boggy ground had frozen over making walking more pleasant in the lower forest

the walk between the first top and the second actual summit takes longer than it looks
