The Pennine Way

Long Distance Footpath
From
Derbyshire
to
The Scottish Border

However
I completed it the
"non traditional" way
North to South

a distance of 270 miles
(its the same distance
the other way round of course)

I completed this walk back in 1980,
long before the days of digital cameras web sites,
as a result I have scanned my prints (these have already been copied from slides)
I have also taken the notes on this page from my expedition log.

I completed the walk with Dave Allen, a friend from Abington Vale Venture Scouts,
the walk was for our Queens Scout Expedition.

the walk took 16 days actual walking, with an additional day of travel either end.
