The Pennine Way
Long Distance
Footpath |
However I completed it the "non traditional" way North to South a distance of 270 miles |
I completed this walk back in
1980,
long before the days of digital cameras web sites,
as a result I have scanned my prints (these have already been copied from slides)
I have also taken the notes on this page from my expedition log.
I completed the walk with
Dave Allen, a friend from Abington Vale Venture Scouts,
the walk was for our Queens Scout Expedition.

page on
Scouting and mountaineering.
the walk took 16 days actual walking, with an additional day of travel either end.
