Climbing Walls

love them or hate them climbing walls are here to stay

I usually use them for
introducing young people to climbing

however the number of people who climb on walls regularly that have never climbed on real rock is for ever growing and some might say worrying

think of it this way :
if it keeps already over crowded rock
more free for just a small part, is it such a bad thing ?

Learning the art of Belaying at Birmingham climbing wall

As well this visit to the wall the participant has other visits to practice climbing and Abseiling, then takes part in a weekend of climbing on an outdoor crag where they will climb and abseil on a selection of routes.  During this weekend they will belay each other, thus ensuring each others safety.

During all climbing all young people will be under supervision.
