tower-1.jpg (22177 bytes) Tower ridge climb

2000 feet -Ben Nevis

the route is 2000 feet long and as such is one of the longest climbs
in the British Isles

it is graded Difficult

tower-2.jpg (25695 bytes)

another picture of
Tower ridge climb

this time at the end of the
"Tower gap" pitch,
nearing the top of the ridge

this section is technically easy but
has huge drops on both sides

tower-3.jpg (19351 bytes)

it was first climbed way back in 1894, however it was climbed
as a descent two years earlier

he Inaccessible Pinnacle,
at 3235 Feet, is often thought as the hardest Munro to ascend for the non climber

the In Pin can be climbed
via one of two routes
the longest ridge is the easiest at moderate and is very easy and very exposed (the way I went up)

the shorter side is difficult (and is the way I abseiled down)
you can climb either route but it is best to abseil down the shorter steep pitch.
