Navigation Excercise Snowdon Horseshoe

In the example below is a section of the detail of the 1:50,000 Landranger map. It is from Landranger number 115 ~ Snowdon

It is a small section (approximately 4km. x 4km.) of Snowdon horse shoe

	one of the most famous of the walks in snowdonia is the Snowdon horseshoe walk it starts at Pen-Y-Pass and traverses Crib Goch Crib Y DDysgl Snowdon & Y Lliwedd all shown on the map section
	first you climb Crib Goch shown approximately 2Km west of Pen-Y-Pass
	you then continue to traverse west over rocky ground over Crib y Ddysgl, 1065m again shown on the map section
	a picture of where the Llanberis path, the Miners path, & the Pyg track meet shown on the map at the top left by the number 13 the famous pointed summit shape of Snowdon can clearly be seen
	about three hundred meters south of the above picture is the view of Crib y Ddysgl 3493 feet the zig zags at the top of the miners path can be clearly seen Behind the camera about 300 meters NNW is Snowdon summit
	Snowdon station is a (can't miss) place both on the ground and on the map section it is the next place visited on this walk the railway station is clearly shown on the map section (the bottom of the two stations)
