Sepilok Orang-Utan Center

At Sandakan we visited the world famous Sepilok Orang-Utan Rehabilitation Center.

These creatures are seriously endangered and the center attempts to retrain orphaned apes in survival skills so that they can be re-introduced back into the wild.
