the size of the Jungle

 

from the time we landed in Borneo the sheer size of the jungle was a sight never to be forgotten.

a few pictures here can not
show the volume of trees that
we passed over in a plane or through on foot and in a boat.

we walked and visited caves in Mulu, out by river journey of several hours stopping at longhouses, we visited
Mt. Kinabalu and Sepilok but
when you look at a map we
covered only a very small part
of a forested country
